Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now I’m found

Was blind, but now I see.

T’was grace that taught my heart to fear

And grace my fears relieved

How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,

Showers of blessing

How he made the lame to walk again

And caused the blind to see

Come and heal my broken spirit

And somehow Jesus came

He has built for me in glory

Beyond the crystal sea

and the old redemption story

There is a name I love to hear

I love to sing its worth

The sweetest name on earth

O how I love Jesus

Because he first loved me!

It tells me of a saviour’s love

Who died to set me free

It tells me of his precious blood

It tells me what my father hath

In store for ev’ry day

And tho I tread a dark-some part

That none can bear below -o how..
